Information we collect

• Customer quote information: name, email, phone number, requested service, property type, city, state, ZIP code, street address when supplied, and project details.
• Provider application and account information: name, company name, email, phone, service type, password/account credentials, application and vetting information, communications, service area, and licensing or insurance materials providers submit.
• Member information: name, email, phone, account credentials, quote preferences, and communication choices.
• Browser and analytics information: local or session browser identifiers, pages and paths visited, referring host, device/browser information, timestamps, and routine server or security logs.
• Communications: emails, texts, calls, support requests, survey responses, and other messages you send or receive through our services.

How we use information

We use information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the platform; process quote requests; match and share leads; evaluate provider applications; manage accounts and preferences; communicate quote, application, account, and lead updates; provide support; analyze first-party site performance; prevent fraud; comply with law; and maintain business records. OpenAI is used server-side for internal marketing and content generation, not to decide customer quote matches.

How we disclose information

At a customer’s request, we share quote details and contact information with relevant independent providers so they can respond. This lead sharing is an essential part of the requested matching service. We also disclose information as reasonably needed to vendors processing it for us: Replit for hosting and infrastructure; Google/Gmail for email delivery; Twilio for SMS; Google Cloud Storage/object storage; and OpenAI for the internal uses described above. We may disclose information to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate misuse, or in connection with a business reorganization or transfer.

We do not describe requested lead sharing as a sale of information. We do not currently use a payment processor or operate a third-party targeted-advertising program through this site. If those practices change, we will update this policy and provide applicable choices before or as required by law.

Cookies and browser storage

We and our service providers may use cookies, localStorage, and sessionStorage for sessions, account functionality, security, preferences, and first-party analytics. Browser settings can remove or block storage, but doing so may impair site features.

Retention and security

We retain information for reasonable business and legal needs, such as providing services, maintaining records, resolving disputes, preventing abuse, and satisfying legal obligations. Retention depends on the data, relationship, and applicable requirements. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.

Your choices and rights

You may opt out of texts as described in the SMS Terms, use unsubscribe instructions where offered, or adjust browser storage settings. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or information about disclosure of personal information. We may verify requests and retain information where permitted or required. Contact us to submit a request. You may also contact us about communication preferences.

Age, location, and changes

The platform is intended only for people age 18 or older, and we do not knowingly seek information from minors. The services are operated in the United States; information may be processed and stored in the United States. We may update this policy prospectively. We will post the updated version and change the last-updated date, with additional notice when required.
