1. Platform role

Florida Local is a lead-generation and provider-matching platform, not a cleaning contractor. We may connect customers with independent pressure cleaning, window cleaning, or other service providers. Florida Local does not perform, supervise, direct, warrant, or control their work. A service contract, if any, is solely between the customer and provider. Providers independently set prices, schedules, methods, and contract terms.

Every provider admitted to our network is vetted, but credentials can change. Providers supply their own licensing and insurance documents. Customers must independently confirm current licenses, insurance, qualifications, references, scope, pricing, and contract terms before hiring.

2. Quote requests and contact consent

You must provide accurate, current information and have authority to request work at the identified property. By submitting a quote request, you ask us to share the request and contact information with relevant independent providers. Those providers may call, text, or email you about the request. Consent to calls or texts is not a condition of purchase; message and data rates may apply. See our SMS Terms.

3. No guarantees

We do not guarantee that a provider will respond, that quotes will be available or comparable, or any provider’s availability, price, timing, credentials, safety, quality, outcome, or compliance. You are responsible for selecting a provider, inspecting completed work, and resolving service or payment issues directly with that provider.

4. Accounts and acceptable use

Keep account credentials confidential and notify us of suspected unauthorized use. You may not use the platform unlawfully; submit false, fraudulent, harassing, or unauthorized requests; scrape or harvest data; impersonate another person; interfere with security or operation; introduce malware; reverse engineer protected functionality; or misuse provider or customer information. You are responsible for activity through your account.

5. Intellectual property and third-party services

The site, brand, text, graphics, software, and other Florida Local materials are owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable law. We grant only a limited, revocable, nontransferable right to use the site for its intended purpose. Third-party links and services are provided for convenience; their content, availability, and practices are controlled by their owners.

6. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM ALL EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, AND WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FLORIDA LOCAL AND ITS OWNERS, PERSONNEL, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM A PROVIDER’S ACTS, OMISSIONS, WORK, PRICING, OR DISPUTES. Any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded remains limited only to the maximum extent the law permits.

8. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Florida Local and its owners, personnel, and affiliates from third-party claims, damages, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful misuse of the platform, your content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of another person’s rights. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from conduct for which indemnification cannot lawfully be required.

9. Suspension, changes, and general terms

We may suspend or terminate access for suspected fraud, unlawful activity, security risk, material breach, or harm to users or the platform. We may update the platform and these Terms; revised Terms will show a new updated date and apply prospectively when posted, subject to any notice required by law. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. These Terms, together with incorporated policies and any applicable order terms, are the entire agreement about website use. A waiver must be express and does not waive later enforcement.

10. Florida law and courts

Florida law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any court proceeding must be brought in an appropriate state or federal court located in Florida that has subject-matter and personal jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
